Some locksmiths offer warranties, but it is not standard practice. The locksmiths that do generally also only base their warranties on what’s offered by the manufacturers of the products they sell and install. In some rare cases, a locksmith will offer a labor warranty too.

- Work Warranty. As mentioned, some locksmiths do have a labor warranty in place. This means that their work is guaranteed for a specified period of time. In some instances, this warranty will also cover the products or hardware that was purchased and installed. This won’t apply to products that are damaged due to negligence, misuse, or natural phenomenon though.
